Living in Shanghai

Introduction: 

 

Shanghai is often described as the fastest and most modern city development project in the world today.  The city boasts over skyscrapers, the tallest to date is the Shanghai Financial Center.  The view is spectacular!  Parks are found throughout the city where people come to dance, play games, fly kites, and enjoy the greenery.  If shopping is your thing, you’ll be in heaven.  You’ll find everything from Hermes to Wal-Mart and everything in between.  When it’s time to eat, you’ll have a hard time choosing from the huge variety of cuisines available in the city.  If you’re on the run, the street food is delicious and readily available. Riding the city’s metro is the easiest and quickest way around town.  It is an extensive metro system linking all parts of the city and the system is cheap and user friendly- complete with English signs and voice! Taxis are also readily available and fairly reasonable. For cultural attractions you can visit the Bund on the Puxi side, and the Pearl Tower across the river in Pudong.  There are numerous temples and museums to visit. There is never a dull day in Shanghai!  Music, Arts, Culture, Dining, Shopping and Traveling are all available in Shanghai.  Come check it out and join in the fun of living in one of the world’s greatest cities!
