A school is only as good as its people are gifted, devoted, skilled and experienced. To find, to engage, and to retain the most talented faculty possible is one of the most important mission driven tasks that we do.

A highly professional, diverse, and stable faculty lies at the heart of MSS’s success. Teachers engage, inspire and challenge young learners in multi-age classes that foster warm, lasting relationships-a hallmark for the school’s experience for faculty, students and parents alike.

Strong hiring, fine facilities and materials, sound fiscal management, strong compensation and benefits, and a grounded educational philosophy driven by a clear educational and institutional mission are the bedrock of our strength.

MSS’s beautifully designed and well-maintained campuses are situated in a suburban neighborhood of the fast developing Hongqiao Hub area. Complete with beautiful custom designed classrooms, spacious natural playgrounds, a warm and inviting library, multi media auditorium, and additional meeting rooms. This campus is truly a work of art!

Our Xuhui campus is nestled in the former French Concession neighborhood.  Our lovely gardens, trellised walkway, and large playground offer a welcomed escape from the busy street activity.  Our classrooms are designed to inspire, challenge, and meet the needs of inquiring young minds.

Both sites were carefully planned and constructed to provide the nature centered, home like environments integral to Montessori practice.
