Communication With Parents


As composer John Powell said, “Communication works for those who work at it.”.  At MSS we work hard in many ways to keep the lines of commucation between parents, teachers and administration working well.  Outlined here are the most efficient and typical communication methods currently used at MSS.  We encourage you to work with us in maintaining positive, effective school communications.

Email List


All families should provide their e-mail address to the administration, classroom teacher and should join the school e-mail list. Frequently, the school will forward messages, classroom updates, news, and events to parents electronically.




Our monthly newsletter is published at the beginning of each month.  Newsletters are sent electronically.




If you have any questions regarding your child’s care and education, you may call the school office at between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm.  Speaking to someone personally is recommended when reporting information about health, transportation, or change in schedule.
